My Own Little Tribute
Bad news filled my Facebook News Feed about a fellow CAFA student, Ryan Merencillo, being shot mercilessly by two men and died 5 days after the incident. It was only today when I read Benz’s posted note about what really happened. I honestly don’t know this guy, but when I got to the part where the violence started, my eyes filled with tears and heat started to fill my face with anger. I can’t believe how violent people are, and how over reactive they can be to simple situations. Ryan M., Benza, and another friend were totally innocent. They didn’t do ANYTHING to those group of people. It was only because of the way that girl reacted to their presence, and one of them, just because he had a gun, used it to banish all unnecessary annoyance that he felt towards them. The other guy smashed a bottle and used it do damage on Ryan Merencillo’s face. I too want justice for Ryan Merencillo. I don’t know who this Ryan Merencillo is, but this one’s for him. I hope his murderers will be found. I know God will find justice for the innocent.
As what my friends say, Ryan Merencillo was a good guy, helpful, and extremely talented in photography, and graphic arts. He was a good friend to many, and totally innocent in many ways. He did not deserve the violence. My prayers are with him.

Swimming with the Whale Sharks
Dated Jan. 2, 2012.. And it was a FANTASTIC way to start my 2012.. :)
I did feel a bit sorry for the whale sharks, seeing them follow the fishermen who were feeding them shrimp like little puppies, but I have to admit, I LOVED the experience. For years I have been longing to see a whale, or any amazing sea creature with my very own eyes in their natural habitat. Every time I’m on a boat, I get up as early as I can and go out of the cabin on hopes to seeing a whale, and sadly, NOT ONCE.. How sad is my life? :( To actually be able to not only see them, but to SWIM WITH THEM, was the icing on the cake. Again, I LOVED the experience. I do wish for them to go back to their migrating habits, but man oh man, the experience, is the ultimate awesome experience ever. :)
